The First Conference of Iran’s e-Business Leaders was held in Tehran last week. The event brought together members of Iran’s Information Technology Organization, e-business and other high-profile figures in the field.
At the beginning of the ceremony, a rambunctious Khosro Saljouqi, entrepreneur and member of the board of directors of the organization, noted that the event is being held with a focus on entrepreneurship in electronic trade, PR Newswire reported.
“Given the need for creating jobs for youths and university graduates, the e-business sector must be promoted further,” he said.
Mohammad Sadeq Maleki, secretary of the Iranian e-Business Consortium, elaborated on objectives behind the formation of the consortium as a private-sector initiative.
He also stressed the need to support and lead the young people interested in e-business by linking them to prominent leaders in the field as well as the necessity of giving them the right training and support.
Majid Kasiri, founder and CEO of Akhbar Rasmi Media Agency, touched upon the importance of public relations and content marketing in a successful e-business.
“One of the key elements in the success of an e-business is to make long-term relationship with the audience through many online channels as well as public relations efforts,” he said.
The event also featured three panels dedicated to introducing successful e-businesses, reviewing obstacles to launching e-businesses in Iran and finding ideas and creating opportunities.
