Tech Olympiads to Promote Skills, Employment

Technicians specialized in installing and repairing mobile phones and tablets, household appliances, air conditioning units and home entertainment devices will be testing their skills in an innovative competition.    
The event has been jointly organized by Iran’s Center of Instructors’ Training and Technical and Vocational Researches along with Samsung and aims to promote skill learning while upholding the rights of customers.
The best technicians will be identified and honored. They will be introduced to the public and put in touch with different firms and industries. The event hopes to help create jobs for the technicians, local advertising company PGT wrote.
Anybody can take part in the competitions. However, each person can only take part in one of the categories. Participation is free of charge.
Enthusiasts can register to take part over a 10-day period starting November 19. The quarterfinals of the competition will be held on 23-25 November and the finals will be duly announced.
The winner will be given 30 Azadi gold coins and those who come in second or third place are to receive 20 and 10 Azadi coins respectively. To register, competitors may refer to http://www.techolympiad.ir/.
