The Islamic Republic News Agency has recently released its mobile news applications in English and Arabic. Following the release of IRNA's Farsi application last September, the apps are now accessible on Apple's app store in two more languages. According to managing director of IRNA's Foreign News Desk, the new versions have been designed to allow iOS users access to news on smartphones. "The app reports on latest news from Iran's largest news agency and keeps users updated with the latest headlines," Mohammad Kazem Jafari added. Designed and developed by Mrapplication.com, the app requires iOS 8.3 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod. The team has not said whether they also intend to release the applications for Android and Windows operating systems in future.
