The Touring and Automobile Club of Iran has released a new vehicle service application for android mobile users, which hopes to speed up the vehicle servicing process. The app called "Emdad Khodro Kanoon" is free for download on local android app store Café Bazaar, Mehr News Agency reported on Monday. Listed under the transportation category, the app can be used for a number of vehicle-related services. To sign up, users must first enter their full name, car model and cellphone number. In case of a breakdown, drivers can tap the red SOS button on the homepage. The app will then pick up on drivers' location via GPS and send service. Users can access a broad range of auto services, including mechanical repairs, paint jobs and welding, auto parts and even a carwash. The app has been downloaded over 100 times and was given a four-star rating by six users when this article was penned. It is also available for direct download from the Touring and Automobile Club of Iran's official website: tac.org.ir.
