US Dollar at 38,500 Rials

US Dollar at 38,500 Rials

The US dollar was exchanged for 38,500 rials in Tehran’s market, the Association of Bureaux de Change Operators of Iran announced, down by 800 rials or 2% compared with Monday.

Rial’s exchange rate against the greenback had surged to 39,900 rials earlier this week. The Central Bank of Iran has taken various measures against speculative activities to control exchange rates in recent weeks.

Euro was traded at 42,900 rials on Monday, down by 200 rials compared with Monday’s close. British pound’s exchange rate remained unchanged and was traded at 48,500 rials.

Turkish lira has dipped significantly by fetching 10,810 rials, following its loss in international markets.
