USD at 39,200 Rials

The US dollar sold for 39,200 rials in Tehran’s market on Saturday, slightly up from the previous day’s 39,100 rials. The currency fetched as much as 39,400 rials in midday trade, according to the Association of Bureaux de Change Operators of Iran. Greenback’s rate was above 39,000 rials during the past week, except for Wednesday when it was traded for 38,850 rials in late trade. Euro changed hands at 42,500 rials on Saturday, unchanged from the previous day’s close. British Pound grew by 100 rials and was sold for 49,300 rials on Saturday. Turkish Lira was traded for 11,700 rials on Saturday, unchanged compared with Thursday’s close. The rate registered 10,700 rials at its lowest at midday.
