Persian Font Add-On for Chrome, Firefox

As presently the majority of websites fail to offer user-friendly Persian fonts, typically resulting in eye strain or loss of interest, an Iranian startup is trying to provide users with a rather practical solution to this problem by giving them better options. The startup named ‘Font Iran’ aims to enhance the user’s experience when visiting Persian language websites, as well as specific Persian-rendered web pages, apps and social media platforms, through provision of a web browser Persian font add-on, reported Digiato. Moslem Ebrahimi founded Fontiran.com in 2015 so as to organize the font market in Iran and provide users with comparatively better services. The Font Iran add-on is available for download on Google Chrome and Firefox web browsers. Three fonts can be installed for free namely IranSans, IranYekan, and the IranSans Handwriting; three extra fonts are also available for purchase on the website. Upon installing the add-on on browsers from Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons, users can simply activate the software, choose the font of their preference and relish the changes made to the web page.

Wikipedia, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Whatsapp, Trello and Google+ are the platforms currently capable of integrating the add-on.
