    Remote-Control Terminal Competitive

A knowledge-based company has designed a remote-control terminal that can be modified as per the industry’s requirements at an optimal cost

A domestic knowledge-based company has developed an efficient remote-control terminal that has a price advantage over foreign counterparts.

The remote monitoring and control terminal has a flexible structure that makes it ideal for various industrial centers.

“The company has produced the industrial control equipment using domestic electronic technologies,” Mosayeb Ashrafi, the CEO of Control Pajouhan Part Mehvar Company, was quoted as saying by the news portal of the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology.

In addition to having eight digital input channels, six analog inputs and five digital outputs, the terminal can have more inputs. It uses a 3-phase system to deliver electricity with greater efficiency.

Programmed under standard languages by the company’s specialists, the terminal's dedicated software is a unique feature. Its numerous boards and structures make it possible to fully adapt the terminal to a variety of applications in small and large stations at an optimal cost. Its software supports multitasking and protocols for upstream communication by default.

The CEO of the knowledge-based company noted that for different types of analog and digital input and output signals, a suitable board can be selected, depending on a project’s requirements.

“In addition to the main processor’s capabilities, a protocol converter board is also envisaged, which helps centralize information and converts protocols for the terminal,” he said.

“The domestic terminal can easily be used as a multi-post information centralizing station in post-automation systems.”

Ashrafi pointed out that the domestic remote-control terminal is priced at one-fifth of foreign counterparts.

The production line can employ 45 technicians, but due to a lack of support for knowledge-based companies, it is currently managed by five specialists.

Domestic Industrial Beam Truss Machine Inexpensive

Another knowledge-based company has produced an industrial beam truss machine using the latest technology, which is cheaper than foreign counterparts.

“With the rising expansion of the housing construction industry, the need to build advanced machinery and equipment was felt in this area. Industrial beam truss machine is used to accelerate the construction process,” Mohammad Dadi Al-Qar, CEO of Toos Rahbar Anbouh Sazeh, was quoted as saying.

“The industrial beam truss machine is an automatic welding robot,” he added.

Truss is a triangular structure that is able to withstand heavy loads in large structures such as roofs, stairs and aerospace structures. Beam truss is the simplest member of this group.

Industrial beams are made of metal trusses. In this type of beam truss, shear rebars are connected to the lower and upper armatures by resistance welding instead of connection by electric welding or the same welding point.

In block joist roofs, a metal structure is made of rebar that requires welding. In fact, new methods of resistance welding do this so that the cross-section of the rebar is not damaged.

The domestic product is similar to its foreign counterparts in terms of quality and efficiency, but has a lower price.

Currently, about 50 employees are directly involved in the machine’s production line.

    Multifunction Transducer Developed

A knowledge-based company has designed and manufactured a multifunction transducer that can be used to monitor the power grid in large and small industrial complexes.

“In digital devices, especially digital measuring devices, one of the most important concerns is how to deal with an analog quantity,” Mohammad Reza Hashemi, CEO of Farayand Niroopardaz Company, said.

Hashemi pointed out that the multifunction transducer is based on the latest electronic technology.

The main function of transducers is to convert one type of energy into another. There is no limit to the type of energy used, as they convert each of the electrical, chemical, mechanical and thermal forms of energy.

Transducers are one of the main equipment in industrial electrical automation systems used to sample power grid parameters and convert them to standard signals.

Electrical parameters in this transducer are calculated after the conversion to a digital signal. These quantities are stored instantly in the system’s memory and can be recalled or applied to current or voltage analog outputs after digital selection by all isolated analog-to-analog converters.

Online network monitoring features, measurement of more than 120 electrical parameters of the power grid, remote measurement capability, 2 kV isolation between all parts and four isolated analog current and voltage outputs are among the special features of this domestic transducer.

It offers protection against short-circuit output, measures the total voltage, one-way or two-way active frequency, tolerates transient inputs up to several times the nominal values, has an internal clock equipped with a backup battery and a solar calendar with detectability, synchronization with location systems and occupies little space.

“Knowledge-based companies need to enjoy benefits such as tax breaks to boost domestic production,” the CEO of the knowledge-based company said, while noting that about 15 jobs have been created in the production process.

Hashemi noted that the foreign counterpart of the multifunction transducer is priced 12-fold higher and not economical for domestic companies, so in order to prevent unnecessary imports, knowledge-based companies should be supported.
