In a meeting of the Islamic Society of Engineers in Tehran on Sunday, the secretary general of the society said the principlists can never enter into an alliance with the reformists, no matter whether they are moderate or not, ISNA reported. Mohammad Reza Bahonar underlined the importance of unity among the principlists in the face of "serious competition" from the reformists, emphasizing that the principlists should foster unity based on the principle of following the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
