Some 20,000 tons of rebar will be exported to Turkey and Iraq via road from Mahabad train station in West Azarbaijan Province, the director general of Azarbaijan Railways General Bureau said.
"This shipment was loaded in Kashan, Isfahan Province, and was carried by rail to Mahabad using 400 cargo wagons," Shapour Arsalani was also quoted by IRNA as saying on Tuesday. Arsalani added that this was the first time Mahabad rail station unloaded a rebar consignment.
