An Iranian startup named ‘Hamkelasi’ (literally means ‘classmate’) has unveiled a smart platform intending to facilitate schools’ management and students’ enrollment.
The smart system operating through a website helps headmasters ease students’ enrollment process and offer them the chance to sign up for science, culture and art examinations as well as field trips with a few clicks. The platform can also be used to hire staff as well.
According to Hamkelasi’s website, the system hopes to increase precision, accelerate the procedures involved, raise efficiency and cut schools’ expenses.
Working toward the complete automation of schools, Hamkelasi has also developed computer software that integrates all school-related affairs and makes them accessible through an online platform to ease communications among principals, teachers students, and their parents, in a user-friendly environment.
Separate panels have been devised for roll call, grade notification, electronic homework, online exams, managing financial affairs including online payment of tuition fees through dedicated gateways, and many more.
The Hamkelasi integrated school management system gives teachers all the required tools to administer online tests; and on the other side, students may take the tests simply through a PC or tablet without the need to go to a physical space shared with their peers. Exam notifications are delivered to both students and their parents through text messages.
Hamkelasi offers three-month refund guarantees to those not satisfied with its performance. In addition, the software package includes free of charge one-year after-sales services.

Provision of electronic education infrastructures and new evaluation systems, using a simple and charming user interface, will enhance the quality of education and help cut down on wasted time and expenses.
Backed by the knowledge-based firm Rahbord Rayaneh Rastak based in Isfahan Science and Technology Town’s business incubator, Hamkelasi is being used by 500 schools all around the country, with approximately 2,000 users.
Rastak was established in 2007, specializing in production and design of hardware and software.
