A total of $15.3 million worth of handcrafts were exported from Tehran Province during the first three months of the current fiscal year (March 21-June 21).
According to Mohammad Enshaei, an official with Tehran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicraft and Tourism Directorate, Germany, Armenia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, the Netherlands, France, Italy, South Africa and Persian Gulf countries were the main export destinations for the products during the period. The exports mainly included traditional glassware, hand-woven products, mosaic and wood carving.
