Photojournalist and cinematographer Saeed Sadeghi is to display his war photos in an exhibition at Fereshteh Art Gallery in Tehran from May 25-June 2.
The ‘Residence of Heart’ features a collection of photos taken during the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war both at the fronts and during certain military operations, Honaronline reported on its Persian website.
Sadeghi, 64, has held solo and group exhibitions about war, children and modern Iran. One of his war photos was among the items presented at the 8th Tehran Auction in January which offered contemporary Iranian art.
He is the recipient of Medal of Valor from the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution in 2006 and a first degree Medal of Art from the same council a year later.
Fereshteh Art Gallery is located at No. 1671, next to the Fereshteh branch of Book City, Shariati Avenue.
