An agreement has been reached between the head of Mazandaran Chamber of Commerce and the head of Volgograd Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Russia to set up a house of commerce in the Russian region. The agreement was reached during a meeting on Tuesday at Mazandaran chamber following the Russian delegation’s arrival in Sari, IRNA reported. The agreement is scheduled to be signed in August during the Volgograd governor’s trip to Mazandaran. Abdollah Mohajer, the head of Mazandaran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, said boosting Mazandaran’s trade with Russia in line with tightening ties between Tehran and Moscow is on the government’s agenda. The first Iranian House of Commerce opened in Astrakhan Oblast in southern Russia in November 2017. The new institution is home to 14 chambers of commerce and industries from 14 Iranian provinces.
