The Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration has set a $10-million cap on imports for each free trade and special economic zone in Iran during the first quarter of the current fiscal (March 21-June 21).
Ten percent of such imports are allowed to be clothing items, including bags and shoes.
The import share of FTZs ranged from $2 million to $20 million last year.
Anzali Free Trade Zone’s import cap had been set at $9 million, Aras at $8 million, Maku at $8 million, Arvand at $2 million, Kish at $20 million, Qeshm at $20 million and Chabahar at $2 million.
