A conceptual ceramic art exhibition by potter, creative director, graphic designer and photographer Atena Ghaffari will be held at Abad Art Gallery.
Slated for April 13-27, the event will present Ghaffari’s conceptual arrangement art on the subject of ‘Becoming,’ according to Tandis (tandismag.com), an online Persian magazine of visual art.
To be featured are a series of raku ware, ceramic artworks created in a type of low-firing process inspired by traditional Japanese raku firing whereby hand-shaped, fairly porous vessels are removed from the kiln while still glowing hot.
