The secretary general of the society of devotees said in a press conference on Saturday that the principlist group plans to hold a congress on Thursday, Tasnim news agency reported. Hossein Fadaei said heads of the branches of government have been invited to the meeting. Elsewhere, he said former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's membership in the society was first suspended and then revoked because his views diverged from the group's policies and manifesto.
