Bank Mellat and Iran Medical Council have signed a memorandum of understanding with the aim of improving bilateral cooperation and increasing banking ties. “In this MoU, [the goal] has been emphasized by way of unifying the accounts of the medical council in the premium branch of Bank Mellat at Tehran University and preparing the ground to offer foreign exchange services to upgrade the quality and quantity of health in the private sector,” the statement on Bank Mellat’s website reads. As part of the MoU, which was signed between Bank Mellat CEO Hadi Akhlaqi and IMC Director Alireza Zali, the lender will provide the entity with all kinds of banking services for three years, which period may be subject to extension in the future.
