Talks are underway for launching a special bank for cooperatives to increase the share of cooperatives in financial markets and in keeping with the Fifth Five-Year Development Plan (2011-16), deputy minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare said on Saturday. Hamid Kalantari added that preliminary steps for the establishment of the bank have been taken and relevant talks are underway with the Central Bank of Iran, IRNA reported.
