On the occasion of the Youth Week in Iran (May 12-19), a meeting on ‘Youth, Peace and Security’ will be held in Tehran today (May 15), to emphasize the role of NGOs run by the youth, in contributing to international peace and security. Organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the Iranian Association for United Nations Studies, the meeting will be held at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, University of Tehran, ISNA reported. French Ambassador to Tehran Bruno Foucher, university professors and a number of officials in the field of youth affairs are attending the meet, said Reza Hojati, director general of the ministry’s Youth Social Contributions Office.
