Mouteh Gold Mining Complex produced about 22 kg of gold bars during the Iranian month ending September 22, indicating a 5% increase compared to the similar period of last year, according to a recent report by the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization.
The report added that the complex produced 121 kg of gold bars during the first half of the current Iranian year (started March 21), which is expected to surpass the production target of 230 kg by the yearend, as new gold deposits have been discovered in Muteh gold zone, the Persian daily Forsat-e Emrooz reported.
