Tehran, Dushanbe Set to Expand Trade

The new Tajik ambassador to Tehran, Nematollah Imamzada has called for expansion of trade ties between the two countries in his meeting with the head of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines, as reported by ICCIM’s public relations office. During the meeting, ICCIM chairman Gholamhossein Shafei announced Iran’s readiness for increasing bilateral trade with Tajikistan to an optimum level and noted the key role of the Tajik embassy and its commerce department in backing up the process. Shafei also told Imamzada that an Iranian trade delegation will soon travel to Dushanbe to explore possible avenues for economic cooperation.
