Deputy foreign minister for Euro-American affairs, Majid Takhte- Ravanchi, invited the Chilean private sector to invest in the Iranian market, in a meeting with political advisor to the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ricardo Lagos held in Tehran on Monday, IRNA reported. “Iran’s geographic location in the west of Asia makes it possible for Chilean traders to have easy access to the markets in Central Asia and the Caucasus region,” he said, adding that the two sides can establish closer ties in scientific, technical, academic and cultural areas.
