Around 1.9 million metric tons of non-oil commodities, worth more than $2 billion were exported through East Azerbaijan Province over the past Iranian calendar year (ended March 20), IRNA quoted head of Azerbaijan’s industry, mine and trade organization Hossein Nejati as saying. He added that $166.4 million worth of minerals as well as $187.4 million worth of metals were exported through the northwestern province over the same period. The commodities were exported to more than 100 countries across the globe.
