The industrial and mining trading floor of the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) played host to 69,200 tons of various steel sheets offered by Mobarakeh Steel Company on Monday trading, according to IME public relations.
Around 34,100 tons of hot-rolled sheet C, with the base price of 17,077 rials per kg, 23,100 tons of hot-rolled B, with the base price of 16,707 rials, 4,500 tons of galvanized sheet G, 5,000 tons of cold-rolled B, and 2,500 tons of thin-coated sheet were offered by the MSC. The floor also featured 3 tons of precious metal concentrates offered by National Iranian Copper Industries Company.
Meanwhile, the oil and petrochemical trading floor recorded the offering of 70,000 tons of bitumen by different local suppliers. The floor also featured 24,831 tons of various polymers offered by local petrochemical complexes. High and low-density polyethylene, poly styrene, poly propylene for different applications, and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene were also among the chief polymers offered there. Furthermore, Bandar Abbas Oi Refining Company offered 12,000 tons of vacuum bottoms, 10,000 tons of lube-cut oil, and 2,000 tons of slap wax on the floor.
Elsewhere, the export trading floor recorded the offering of 3,250 tons of bitumen 6070, and 450 tons bitumen MC3000 for export purposed. And the agricultural trading floor played host to around 29,785 tons of corn, 4,000 tons of durum wheat, and 3,065 tons of rice.
All in all, about 227,000 tons of various commodities were offered at the IME’s spot market on Monday.
