MASJED SOLEYMAN, Iran – Masjed Soleyman Petrochemical Company (M.I.S) is set to enter its fifth year of operation, reporting significant production milestones and financial restructuring despite facing dual challenges of regional conflicts and national energy imbalances.
Under the management of Peyman Shahoveisi, the complex achieved a daily nominal production capacity of 3,264 tons, reaching a monthly record of 96,000 tons. Despite the constraints imposed by recent geopolitical tensions and national gas shortages, the company successfully fulfilled 98% of its annual production plan last year.
Operational resilience was highlighted by the company’s ability to maintain continuous urea production for 68 consecutive days through technical optimizations in granulation processes. Additionally, the firm completed a comprehensive winter overhaul, executing over 5,200 maintenance tasks to ensure long-term stability.
On the financial front, M.I.S has successfully cleared its bank debts and resolved accumulated gas arrears. The company has also improved its economic indicators by diversifying sales channels through the stock exchange. Notably, M.I.S reported sales prices exceeding the Argus benchmark, signaling strong competitive positioning in international markets.
