    Tehran Stocks Unimpressive 

    The main index of the Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, gained 348.67 points or 0.02% on Saturday to end at 1,417,719.89 but the TSE equal-weighted index lost 0.02%.

    About 5.98 billion shares worth 37.77 trillion rials ($130.25 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Sina Ceramic and Tile Industries Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.35% to 40,170 rials per share. The Industry and Mine Leasing Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.83% to 3,034 rials per share.

    Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Esfahan Oil Refining Company, Tehran Oil Refining Company and Social Security Investment Company.

    Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company, National Iranian Copper Industries Company and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.

     

    IFX Falls 0.1%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 18.17 points or 0.1% to close Saturday at 18,672.87.

    About 3.61 billion securities worth 166.97 trillion rials ($575.77 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 324.54 million worth 198.31 billion rials ($683,834).

    Kish Parsian Electronic Commerce Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.64% to reach 10,600 rials per share.

    The big loser was Chlor Pars Company plunging 6.16% to reach 76,200 rials per share.

    Pasargad Insurance Company, Lavan Oil Refining Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Daana Pharmaceutical Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Marun Petrochemical Company, Tajali Mines and Metals Development Company and Pouya Zarkan Agh Darreh Company.
