The Tehran Stock Exchange main index TEDPIX lost 4,096.55 points or 0.3% on Monday to end at 1,373,821.43.
About 4.97 billion shares worth 39.57 trillion rials ($136.47 million) changed hands at the TSE for the day.
Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Charkheshgar Company was the major winner as its shares went up 6.68% to 20,770 rials per share.
Iran Combine Manufacturing Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 5.4% to 4,730 rials per share.
Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company, Pasargad Bank and Iran Khodro Company.
Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mellat Bank, Amin investment Bank and Sepanta Communication Development Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 53.05 points or 0.28% to close Monday at 18,576.98.
About 6.38 billion securities worth 1,451.7 trillion rials ($5 billion) were traded at the junior equities exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares as 383.5 million of its shares worth 247.08 billion rials ($852,013) were sold.
Tabas Parvardeh Coal Company posted the highest daily growth among all IFB-listed companies with 6.22% rise to reach 17,930 rials per share.
North West Housing Investment Company recorded the biggest loss declining 5.83% to 8,070 rials per share.
Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company, Saba Tamin Investment Company, Arya Sasol Polymer Company and Pasargad Insurance Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Tabas Parvardeh Coal Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Bahman Diesel Company, Pouya Zarkan Agh Darreh Company and Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company.
