The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, ended Monday slightly higher gaining 2,724 points or 0.18% to end at 1,504,065.
Almost half of active tickers fell and retail trade rose slightly by 1% to reach 39.2 trillion rials ($126 million). About 6.63 billion shares worth 41.86 trillion rials ($135m) changed hands at TSE for the day.
Behshahr Industrial Development Company was main winner as its shares went up 5.91% to 3,887 rials per share.
Charkheshgar Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 5.58% to 16,570 rials per share.
Pars Petrochemical Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Khouzestan Steel Company, Parsian Bank and Social Security Investment Company.
Esfahan Oil Refining Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Nouri Petrochemical Company, Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company and Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company.
IFX Flat
Iran Fara Bourse main index, IFX, closed session almost on flatline, gaining 2.88 points or 0.01% to end trade at 20,350.
About 4.75 billion shares and securities were traded at the junior equities exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares as 840.48 million of its shares worth 668.15 billion rials ($2.3m) were traded.
Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company, Saba Tamin Investment Company, Mehr Ayandegan Financial Development Group Company and Sirjan Jahan Steel Complex had the most negative impact on IFX.
Zagros Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company, Day Bank and Minoo Industrial Group Company.
