    TEDPIX Ticks Up

    The main gauge of the Tehran Stocks Exchange, TEDPIX, gained 4,835 points or 0.42% on Monday to end trade at 1,168,592.65.

    About 9.34 billion shares valued at 64.16 trillion rials ($267.3 million) changed hands at TSE for the day. The International Construction Development Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 5.91% to 2,096 rials per share.

    Qazvin Sugar Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 40.44% to 23,310 rials per share.

    Mobarakeh Steel Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company and Esfahan Oil Refining Company.

    Social Security Investment Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Tejarat Bank, Mapna Group Company and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.

    IFB Gains 0.2%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 32.52 points or 0.19% to close Monday trade at 17,319.25.

    About 2.45 billion share and securities valued at 123.58 trillion rials ($514.95m) were traded at the junior exchange for the day.

    Andisheh Varzan Saba Tamin Investment Fund had the highest number of traded equities as 244.83 million of its shares worth 4.64 trillion rials ($19.37m) were traded.

    Hormozgan Steel Company, Tejaratno Insurance Company, Marun Petrochemical Company and Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Minoo Industrial Group Company, Omid Taban Hoor Energy Management Company and Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company.
