He said the refinery buys wastewater from towns like Shahin Shahr in the vicinity of the company.
“The municipal wastewater is directed into the refinery and reused after being treated in the new plant,” he added.
Domestic compressed natural gas consumption has reached 25 million cubic meters a day, indicating 31% rise compared to the 19 mcm/d before gasoline was rationed and pump prices increased in mid-November.
State-run National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company said on Nov. 14 midnight that subsidized gasoline would be sold for 13 cents a liter up to 60 liters per car per month. Additional purchases cost double. However, CNG prices have remained unchanged.
One cubic meter of CNG is sold for 4,600 rials (3.5 cents), at least three times cheaper than gasoline. A liter of subsidized gasoline costs 15,000 rials (13 cents) and non-subsidized fuel 30,000 rials (26 cents).
Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union have traded $1 billion worth of goods since Oct. 27, when a preferential trade agreement between the two sides came into effect.
According to Director General of International Affairs Bureau with the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration Hossein Kakhaki, Iran's exports under the preferential trade agreement stands at $87 million while EEU exported goods worth $533 million in return.
“Iran’s total exports and imports to and from the five EEU member states have hit $347 million and $655 million respectively,” he was quoted as saying by IRNA.
The above figures show more than 25.1% of Iran's export to EEU and 81.37% of imports from the bloc into Iran have been carried out under the trade agreement.
A total of 39.34 million tons of iron ore concentrates were produced in Iran during the first 10 of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2019-Jan. 20) to register a 3% growth compared with the corresponding period of the year before.
Production in the 10th month stood at 3.9 million tons up 1% YOY.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Complex accounted for 13.38 million tons of the total 10-month output (up 2% YOY), followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 7.97 million tons (up 6% YOY), Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 4.33 million tons (up 3% YOY), Iran Central Iron Ore Company with 3.95 million tons (down 11% YOY), Goharzamin Iron Ore Company with 3.8 million tons (up 4% YOY), Opal Parsian Sangan with 2.56 million tons (up 3% YOY), National Development Industrial and Mineral Company with 1.98 million tons (up 59% YOY), Sabanour Mining and Industrial Development Company with 930,252 tons (down 5% YOY) and Jalalabad Iron Ore Complex with 412,803 tons (down 5% YOY).

The Iranian Privatization Organization sold a block of shares of Shiraz Oil Refining Company on Iran Fara Bourse, the over-the-counter stock market. The IPO move was made on behalf of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company.
The block, which represented 20% of the government’s remaining stake in the refinery, was offered and bought Monday, IBENA reported.
It comprised more than 205 million shares priced at 63,453 rials (about 50 cents) apiece.

Iran’s flag carrier airline has launched a new flight from Persian Gulf International Airport in Asaluyeh, Bushehr Province, to Doha International Airport in Qatar, according to Abolqasem Jalali, an official with Iran Air.
Using ATR aircrafts, the flight is operated on Sundays every week leaving Doha at 5 p.m. local time for Asaluyeh. The return flight is operated on the same day, leaving Persian Gulf International Airport at 7:40 p.m. local time for Doha International Airport, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development's news service reported.
The new route was operated for the first time on Feb. 9.
