Tajik Trade Grows

In 2014, the external trade turnover of Tajikistan, including electrical power and natural gas, amounted to $5.319b, which was 106.3% of the 2014 level or $314m more, the first deputy head of the Customs Service under the government of Tajikistan, Nemat Rahmatov, announced at a news conference in Dushanbe Wednesday, Asia Plus said. The trade balance was negative and amounted to more than $3.3b. According to Rahmatov, exports of goods in 2014 amounted to $979m and imports of goods last year amounted to more than $4.3b.
