Japanese companies see this year favorably as reflected by Kyodo agency, pointing widespread optimism regarding economic issue. The report of this weekend added that most of the Japanese companies trust on the expansion of the country’s economy by 2015. Of 111 major companies in Japan, 90 expect moderate growth this year while seven of them believe that growth will be strong. None of the companies surveyed believe that a contraction will occur as it happened in the last two semesters of 2014 due to the curb in consumption after a rise of value-added tax (VAT) last April. 44 firms cited the recovery of non-residential investment, 41 aimed at improving US economy and 36 increase of private consumption.
