Spain’s CaixaBank and Barclays Bank PLC have concluded the deal on the purchase by the Spanish retail of Barclays Bank SAU, the bank’s Spanish branch. The sale includes the retail business of Barclays Bank SAU as well as its asset management and corporate banking activity, Investment Europe reported. CaixaBank will also incorporate 262 offices and 2,400 employees from the UK bank countrywide.
