Cuba said it welcomed a record 3m international visitors in 2014. “Today we have broken a record. We have welcomed three million international tourists in 2014, up 5.3% from last year,” AFP quoted state TV as saying. Tourism is Cuba’s third largest hard-currency earning pillar, bringing in $2.5b last year.
