Brazil’s inflation in the month through mid-December accelerated faster than forecast, and unemployment unexpectedly increased, as the central bank continues to raise rates in the biggest emerging market after China, Bloomberg said. Inflation as measured by the benchmark IPCA-15 index sped up to 0.79% from 0.38% a month earlier, the national statistics agency said on its website Friday.
