Poland Keeps Key Rate at Record Low
Poland Keeps Key Rate at Record Low

Poland’s central bank retained its record low interest rate, as widely expected, forextv reported .The Monetary Policy Council of the National Bank of Poland on Wednesday, decided to hold the key reference rate at a record low 1.50%. The previous change in the reference rate was a half-basis point cut in March 2015. The so-called lombard rate was maintained at 2.50% and the deposit rate at 0.50%. The rediscount rate was left unchanged at 1.75%. Inflation rose to 1.8% in August from 1.7% in July. At the same time, core inflation remained at 0.8%.
