Peru’s economy will expand 2.8% this year, accelerate to 4% in 2018, and consolidate growth around its potential of 4% in the 2018-2021 period, the ministry of economy and finance projected Friday, andina.com reported. According to MEF’s Multiannual Macroeconomic Framework, the 2018-2021 period will seek to reach rates of 5% through greater administrative simplification, improved regulatory quality, formal and competitive employment promotion, as well as increased investment in infrastructure.
