The Peruvian economy will grow at a rate of more than 4% next year, returning to the path economic dynamism, despite the natural disasters caused by the El Nino climate phenomenon and corporate corruption investigations, said the South American country’s President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski in a speech, RTTNews reported. “I am sure that the year ahead will be much better than the one we had. It is reasonable to project a growth rate of more than 4% in 2018,” Kuczynski said. He also stressed that the government is making efforts to maintain the country’s good credit due to its “low inflation rate, reduced public debt and a fiscal and monetary order envied by the rest of Latin America.” The president also stressed that the main challenge for the country is to return to the path of economic growth. To achieve this, he confirmed 25,000 million soles (Peruvian currency) in investments in public infrastructure projects.
