The dollar’s resurgence could have a negative impact on emerging markets, financial policymakers have warned. On Sunday, the Bank for International Settlements, said that a prolonged rally for the US currency could expose financial frailties in some emerging markets. Should the dollar continue its ascent, it could expose currency and funding mismatches by raising debt burdens, ShareCast reported.
