Russian economy is picking up and the growth will probably reach between 1% and 2% in 2017,  Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Saturday, Xinhua reported. “The economic climate is changing. It is very clear that our economy has begun growing, albeit perhaps not quite confidently yet...This year, we are expecting the economy will grow between 1% and 2%,” Medvedev was quoted as saying by the Vesti v Subbotu state television news program. According to Medvedev, inflation has been under control in Russia. “It is very important that we have been able to handle inflation... (It) was in double digits and the people’s income took a hit. Nobody liked that,” he said.
