Black Friday

Black Friday discounts and year-end deals will probably bring down the average profit per unit for the next few weeks, but US auto sales in November were shaping up to produce both high volumes and high revenues, Forbes said. “Things are lining up to a strong finish for the year,” said Jesse Toprak, chief analyst at Cars.com, in a phone interview. Black Friday incentives this year included many mass-market brands as well as what has become an annual sales event for luxury brands, he said. Many brands also have 2014 year-end deals that run through the New Year’s Day holiday weekend.
