British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond warned of the ‘economic damage’ the UK might face if it leaves the European Union, ITV News reported. “There are people who simply want to leave, and they don’t really care about the economic damage … mainstream British public wants to enjoy the benefits of the single market, but not prepared to pay any price for those economic benefits.”
