Malta Growth Forecast at 4.3%

According to the Central Bank of Malta, the economy will grow by 4.3% in the year 2016. This current forecast is just one percentage point greater than what the Central Bank had forecasted this time last year, Malta online reported. In a press release issued Monday, it was said that the forecast is in line with workings of the government and other international agencies. Experts within the Central Bank noted that “economic activity in Malta is expected to remain robust over the projection horizon, supported by both demand and supply factors”.
