Russia’s services sector activity improved in November as the pace of job-shedding slowed, a Markit survey of purchasing managers showed Monday, Dow Jones reported. The headline Purchasing Managers’ Index for the services sector rose to 54.7 from 52.7 in October. This was the biggest increase since July and above the 50 level that separates growth from contraction. While the sector shed jobs at a slower pace, both the services and manufacturing sectors faced cost pressures, forcing services providers to raise their selling prices further.
