    Italy Trade Surplus

    Italy’s foreign trade surplus with non-EU countries rose to its highest level in more than 21 years, preliminary figures from Istat showed Monday. The trade surplus rose to €4.04b ($5.01b) in October from €1.5b in September. This was the highest level since January 1993. A year ago, the surplus was €2.81b. The surplus in energy trade was €6.8b, Investment Europe reported.
