China VC Market Sluggish

China’s venture capital market remained sluggish in Q3 of this year, with total deal value dropping 32% quarter-on-quarter, according to a new report released by CB Insights and KPMG International, AsiaFirst reported. The report showed that despite the slight increase in deal numbers, which was 84, the value of venture deals dropped due to continued sluggishness in Asia’s venture market. In the wider Asian region, 323 venture deals with total deal value of $7.2 billion were recorded during the Q3, slightly down compared to 339 deals with $7.4 billion in deal value registered during the quarter before..
