Vietnam’s Consumer Confidence Index jumped three points to 102, the highest level since late 2010, according to the assessment of Q3, 2014 by Nielsen Global Survey of Consumer Confidence and Spending Intentions, Xinhua reported. Voice of Vietnam radio reported Monday quoting Country Manager of Nielsen Vietnam Vaughan Ryan as saying that the climb of consumer index in Q3 has shown that consumers have shared a positive outlook for the future in spite of difficulties over the past 18 months. Consumers are willing to spend their spare cash on vacations, new clothes, latest technological products and household utensils, which is a positive sign for the economy in the remaining months of the year.
