    Mediocrity Era

Taiwan’s economy is said to be entering a “mediocrity era” with an economic growth rate below 3.9%, and an average annual export growth of only 2.9% from 2011 to 2020, Xinhua reported. Cheng Cheng-mount, president of the Taiwan Academy of Banking and Finance, said his views are very conservative, yet he would call 2015 a very good performance year if in case Taiwan’s export growth reached 4%.
