Greece has requested additional financial assistance for agricultural producers from the European Union in connection with Russia’s food embargo against the EU, Itar Tass reported. At the request of the Greek delegation, the Council of EU ministers of agriculture at a meeting in Brussels on November 10, will consider additional spot support measures for peach and mandarin producers.
